Tuesday, August 4, 2020AGGRAVATED ASSAULT
On August 4, 2020, at approximately 1:03 a.m., Turlock Police Dispatch received a call of an aggravated assault in progress in the 500 block of Twentieth Century Boulevard.
Officers arrived on scene and located a female inside a vehicle who had been struck by gunfire. The victim is a pregnant Hispanic female adult, who sustained life threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital. The suspect(s) had left the scene prior to Officers’ arrival.
Detectives are actively investigating this case and are working on leads discovered in their preliminary investigation. The victim has been identified, however, her identity is not being released at this time.
