CAR SEAT PARTS Lower Anchor Attachments - Used to install the car seat in a vehicle with lower anchors Tether - Used to secure a forward-facing car seat and limit forward head movement in a crash. ... The tether is located on the top rear of convertible, combination, and all-in-one car seats. It€s adjustable and has a hook and strap that connects to one of your vehicle€s tether anchors. Most rear-facing car seats in the United States do not use a tether for installation. However, installations vary from model to model, so you must review your particular car seat€s instructions and your vehicle€s owner manual carefully. Follow your car seat manufacturer€s instructions regarding when and how to use the tether for your particular seat. NHTSA recommends always using a tether with a forward-facing car seat€installed with your vehicle€s seat belt OR the lower anchors€as long as it is permitted by both the car seat and vehicle manufacturers. IMPORTANT: Both installation methods are designed to work with the tether to achieve the highest level of safety for child passengers restrained in forward-facing car seats. Lower Anchor Weight Limits - Lower anchors have weight limits set by the vehicle and car seat manufacturers. You can determine the lower anchor weight limit by checking the warning label or installation diagrams located on the side of the car seat. If your car seat does not have a label, you can determine the maximum allowable child weight for lower anchor use by subtracting the weight of the car seat (usually available in the car seat€s instruction manual) from 65 pounds. Lower anchor weight limit = 65 lbs € weight of car seat Know the Facts - Once your child outgrows the vehicle or car seat manufacturer€s established limits for the lower anchors, stop using the lower anchor attachments and reinstall the car seat using the vehicle€s seat belt.

National Night Out 2020 has been CANCELLED. While COVID is a concern for this event, our current budgetary constraints do not allow for us to continue the positive community outreach events that we have enjoyed in the past. Since our first event in 2009, NNO has been centered around building community partnerships and fostering safe neighborhoods. Therefore, we hope to continue this annual event once sufficient funds are available. #turlock #turlocknno #turlockpolice #turlockpd

Good Morning Turlock Community, As you may know Chief Nino Amirfar will retire on October 1, 2020. Chief Amirfar has worked hard to increase community trust as ...well as police accountability and transparency. The staff of the Turlock Police Department intend to continue that level of community engagement. Until a permanent Chief is selected, Captain Miguel Pacheco and I will share the responsibility of filling Chief Amirfar's big shoes. Captain Pacheco will serve as the Interim Chief from October 2020 through the end of January 2021. I will serve as the Interim Chief from February through the end of June 2021. For those of you who may not know me, my name is Steve Williams. I have lived in Turlock all my life and began my service in the Turlock Police Department as a Police Explorer in 1988. I have been a Police Captain for eight years and currently oversee the Special Operations Division. Captain Pacheco and I will work together to lead the Turlock Police Department as Interim Chiefs over the next several months. Please reach out to me on Facebook or at swilliams@turlock.ca.us if I can be of service to you or your family. See you around town.

To the Turlock Community, I just wanted to take a minute to introduce myself. My name is Captain Miguel Pacheco and I have had the pleasure of serving with the ...Turlock Police Department for the past twenty years. I currently oversee Field Operations (patrol / and other field services). As we all know, Chief Amirfar will soon be retiring. He has been a tireless advocate for this community. We will all miss him. In many ways he will not be gone, as his vision of community based policing and partnership remains. I created this account to make sure our community continues to enjoy open lines of communication. Myself, Captain Williams and the Turlock Police Department will continue to serve you and your families. Take care. #turlock #turlockpd #turlockpolice Steven Williams Nino Amirfar
