On November 23, 2022, at approximately 11:04 p.m., Turlock Police Dispatch received a call of an armed robbery at a business located in the 100 block of East Glenwood Avenue. A victim employee described the responsible as a Hispanic male armed with a handgun. The responsible was last seen running from the business heading east toward an awaiting vehicle.

On Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at approximately 3:15 p.m., the Turlock Police Department received a call of a solo vehicle rollover collision in the 4000 block of West Linwood Avenue. As officers responded to the scene, it was reported that the vehicle was on fire and the solo occupant was able to get out of the vehicle.

This morning, TPD members attended the Occupational Olympics where high school students in the area had an opportunity to compete in various events related to different career fields and speak with professionals in those fields. Our very own Sgt. Crawford and Officer NWando were asked to be judges for the criminal justice scenarios!

On 2/18/23 at approximately 4:35 PM the Turlock Police Department received numerous calls of vehicles conducting a sideshow at the intersection of Fulkerth Road and North Tegner Road in the City of Turlock. As officers arrived in the area, an Officer observed a black Dodge Charger, which had been part of the sideshow, leaving the area. The Officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle for multiple vehicle code violations. The driver did not yield for the Officer, and a pursuit was initiated. The Dodge Charger was driven with willful and wanton disregard for the safety of the public. The Officer terminated the pursuit for public safety reasons.
